The Walking Dead

...now joins Half Life 2, Episode 2 in the saddest videogames of all time category. I'll say that I wasn't quite as taken with Clementine as the rest of the world seems to be, and although sappy movies make me cry like a baby, I didn't tear up for this game. However, it's definitely a great tale and fantastic stab (no pun intended) at crafting a story that is truly tragic, in our genre of media which is stuffed to the gills with hero's tales.

Beating Bowser - again...

Now that my kids have embraced videogames to the point where I have to limit their time playing and pry their hands from the controllers, I've become somewhat of a Mario expert.

Yesterday I finally completed New Super Mario Bros Wii, and man, is it tough. Definitely the hardest 2D Mario game I've ever played. Still one of the all time great games, and in my opinion, the best game I've played on the Wii to date, however it's strange how much more difficult it is than the ds "new" games.
